Tunnel walk rolled last night…

9 11 2009

The addition to the tunnel walk I have been working on for over a month now finally rolled last night. It was suppose to play originally weeks earlier against Arkansas St, but luckily, and fittingly, we couldn’t get it in until the OU game. There was something special in the air last night, and in my wildest dreams I would love to believe that my video had something to do with it but I think that the crowd would have been just as electric with it or not.

I woke up today with a flood of feedback. Last night was emotional for me. My second to last game at memorial stadium. The biggest win since I have been at the University. Seeing all the overwhelming support over my addition to last night makes it something that I won’t ever forget. This type of thing isn’t suppose to happen for nerds like myself… but I’ll accept the exception.

In December of 2009, I will be graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in broadcast journalism. With a focus in video production, I have spent the last five years dedicated to the advancement of my skills in this very challenging and technical field. While earning this degree, I have also spent the last 4 years working for HuskerVision, the video production company within the athletic department of UNL. During my time at HuskerVision, I would shoot, edit and produce for nationally broadcast television shows, become familiar with a top of the line high end standard definition studio, as well as cover many live sporting events at about every position imaginable.
